me personally, if a can of mace wont put somebody down, you better get you cards together and stick two in the chest...but what situation allows use of a taser? somebody gettin pissed off that they get pulled over and bein a dick? i think we need to have a way that citizens should hold LEOs accountable, let them know they are not above the law
Tasers are dangerous, I'll agree, but it's one of those things where they aren't guarunteed to be leathal. At any rate, they should only be used in extreme cases, and not a second sooner.
I think you need a license to carry a taser. Tasers are a little dangerous. You don't want to give a taser to everyone than it would start a taser war because taser is kind of a weapon.Ad hominem atttack:you give a taser to a criminal he is going to use it as a weapon to hurt people
I think that tasers should be allowed, but their should be better training. I agree that the officers should be held accountable if they mishandle a situation with tasers. After reading that victims died from prolonged exposure, there is something wrong with that. Tasers put almost anyone down immediately, prolonged exposure should never happen.
tasers are weapons no matter what anyone says. i think giving everybody free range to carry around whatever weapon they choose is a bad idea just because there are people out there that would either abuse it and there are also people out there that just dont need a weapon. i think it should be regulated the same as a concealed weapons permit is and training is a must. i just dont trust the general population enough for anything like that. a few bad eggs ruin it for everyone in my opinion.
